DOWNLOAD DITTY HERE:

Installing:
Unzip ditty.zip to find SETUPDITTY.exe and run it:

   SETUPDITTY.exe will
   - ask you for the "MidiPath" dir (the root dir for .mid files, etc.)
   - ask you for the "Install" dir (just use the default.)
   - copy everything to the right place on your PC and tell windows it's there.

After running it, you can delete SETUPDITTY.exe and ditty.zip

ALL DONE!!! Now, try the TUTORIAL!

Updating:
Like most apps, Ditty is a "work in progress".
When you or I get ideas, I'll add functionality to Ditty.

Ditty will automatically check for updates once every 2 weeks.
   Never more frequently than this.
It will download a 10 byte file from shazware.com
that says whether there's a new version out or not.
If there is, ditty will ask you if you want to install it.

This also lets me know if you actually USE ditty.
Well, your ip addr, not YOU, per se.

If you have dialup, this MAY annoy you...
So, well, sorry, but all I can tell you is that cable is nice. Get it...:)
Or just deal with a dialup dialog once every 2 weeks.

   Ditty -IS- free, you know...;)

UnInstalling:
   Happens the usual way...
   - Go to Windows' "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove Programs" application.
   - select "Ditty" in the list of applications.
   - click the "Remove" button.
All start menu, Program Files and registry entries will be deleted.
   - You'll need to delete the "MidiPath" directory yourself
since REMOVE.exe doesn't know if it's safe to delete.
